First fascicule of a ‘showbiz’ magazine in the UK in 1823. Ref.2
4 hand-colored lithographs of actors, each followed by 2 pages of biography in the original covers and bound with a Japanese stitch. The cover has moisture stains, light spotting and residual traces from a label. Uncut, inside good with darkening on the edges, the plates have come loose. See pictures.
Very rare.
